The advisory came after the KSA’s ban on the importation of meat, poultry, and seafood products from the Philippines.
"The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Riyadh received information from the KSA Ministry of Foreign Affairs stating that importers of products being held for shipment may request for reconsideration at the SFDA branch with jurisdiction over where the shipment is held," DTI said in its advisory.
DTI also advised Philippine exporters to coordinate with their respective importers "to request for reconsideration from SFDA."
