Two children died while two of their siblings and a man were injured in a fire that burned down their house in Tupda Village, Barangay 8 in Caloocan City Sunday.

Supt. Stephen Requina, Caloocan City Fire Marshal identified the fatalities as Jilian Nardeya, 8, and her sibling Mikmik Nardeya, 6.
The fatalities were brought to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the two other children,  Kian, 10, and Rodolfo, 5, were in critical condition due to severe burns, Fulgencio Rodriguez, 45 was electrocuted and are now confined at the Caloocan City Medical Center
In a report from GMA News, Dr. Anthony Suva, Caloocan City Medical Center surgeon, said Kian sustained 86 percent burns in his body while Rodolfo had 68 percent burns.
Maymay Mano, mother of the children, said she left her four children before dawn to get breakfast.
Reports said the fire started on the ground floor of the family's house around 3 a.m. and reached second alarm.
The blaze quickly reached the second alarm after five minutes and was declared under control at about 4:07 a.m.
Requina said the children's mother went out of the house to buy some food while their father was in jail for drug charges.
The victims had to be retrieved from the house through the roof.
No other houses were damaged by the fire.
The estimated damage of the fire was pegged at P150,000.
Eight trucks from the Caloocan City Bureau of Fire Protection and 25 trucks from other volunteer groups helped in putting out the fire.
Probers are now looking into the cause of the fire.
