San Juan offers free ride for medical frontliners

The San Juan City government is offering free ride for all city medical frontliners as the city’s way of thanking them in the fight against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Mayor Francis Zamora said the city hall bus will be used to ferry and fetch the medical front liners in going to work and back due to the suspension of public transport under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila.

Zamora posted on his Facebook page the pick-up and drop off points en route to Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) -- San Juan City Hall, Puregold Agora, Aquinas School, Kalentong, Jolibee Wilson and Cardinal Santos Medical Center.

Zamora said pick-up time at the San Juan City Hall will be from 5:00 to 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 to 7:30 a.m.

The pick-up time in the afternoon is from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The mayor said medical front liners who already finished their duties at the hospital will be picked-up by the bus at CSMC from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., 5:00 to 5:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 and 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.
