Call us empresses of organization, multi-tasking maestros, or just plain family managers. Whatever the title, today’s moms are overwhelmingly overworked, and the discovery of the time-saving power of the Internet has made our busy lives easier.

The same survey done by Metafacts in Encinitas, California shows that 89% of moms say they don’t have enough time in the day to get everything done while 80% save time doing some of their chores or activities online, freeing up an average two hours a week.

We working moms have found an easier way to pay bills, look for services, and stay in touch with family and friends and even shop! According to the survey, moms are so busy they must squeeze their personal online time in during the evenings and at odd hours.

The 68 % of moms surveyed are most likely to go online between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. while 20 % of moms go online in the early morning between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.

Whether they work at home or at a workplace, today’s moms play many roles – homework tutor, meal planner, chauffeur, family publicist and overall family manager.

They are increasingly using technology and what it offers as time-saving tools that provide real solutions for managing their daily lives.

Even the busiest moms can now carve out some ‘me’ time. Believe me, I should know. Lemme share some key findings from recent surveys:

* Fully 80 percent of those surveyed say they save time doing some of their chores or activities online that they would typically do offline; moreover 95 percent agree that the Internet saves them time on various ongoing activities.

* Nine out of 10 moms feel pressed-for-time and wish they had more time in the day to accomplish everything they need to do.

* More than 50% say the Internet helps them get or stay organized; the most common way is through email alerts and reminders), online calendars and online filing systems or folders.

* 48 percent say they stay in touch with loved ones by sending each other photos, while 10 percent use a Web cam. Almost 20 percent of moms use the Internet to connect with others by visiting chat rooms and posting on message boards.

While communication remains a popular online activity for moms, more of us are using the Internet to take care of tasks they would otherwise conduct offline, gosh it cuts down a lot of time more than half!
From planning and researching for trips, getting news and current events, banking, paying bills, doing research, online shopping, getting health info, finding recipes for daily meals parties or large occasions to official business like filing taxes.

The primary reason for me in using the Internet is because I get to have multiple resources at my fingertips and this we could do in the convenience of the home!.

There are also those moms who play games online. And as a personal insight, this activity I enjoy doing with my Keoni. It’s perfect for “bonding time.”

The surveys also said that close to three quarters of moms, appear to bond with their child while online: - just as I have Keoni pretty much looking over my shoulder while I work on the PC or lappy, nearly 71 % say that they go online with their children sitting on their laps or nearby.

Does your little one love to sit on your lap and punch the keys on the computer while you try your darnest to make your deadline? Moms, (and Dads) you are not alone! Fear not, for now there are gadgets that could help.

I chanced upon this computer system just for your toddler or preschooler! The Comfy Baby Easy PC! The Comfy PC package includes a colorful keyboard and the “First Steps” game, for ages 1-3.

This system is a great educational tool, it teaches kids words, colors, shapes and has stories they can watch. Games such as this are cool and there are different games you can buy for different ages.
It’s really genius and the feedback for the extra games is great! The “Let’s Imagine” game is great for budding toddler personalities, and the kids just go nuts over the characters on screen.

“The cell phone is the most popular technology product for moms, but not the only popular one,” said MetaFacts Principal Analyst Dan Ness.
