After launching new services between Clark and Singapore, Jetstar Asia on Friday announced a new direct service from Clark International Airport to Kansai International Airport, Japan.
From 27 March 2018, Jetstar Asia will operate three weekly services between Clark in Pampanga province and Osaka in the Kansai region.
This direct service is an exciting development and the first connection from Northern Luzon to Japan, according to Jetstar Asia CEO Bara Pasupathi.
"Apart from the greater convenience for our travellers, this service will increase Jetstar’s capacity up to three services a week to Kansai International Airport and Clark will now be the latest gateway in the region for both Singapore and Filipino travellers to fly to Osaka," he elaborated.
From Singapore, Jetstar Asia currently operates up to 12 services through Taipei to Osaka and up to 5 services through Manila to Osaka.
“Clark International Airport will be the second gateway in the region for Singapore and Japanese travellers to fly to the Philippines,” Pasupathi noted.
Combined, Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Japan will now operate up to 23 services to Osaka from Taipei, Manila and now Clark,.
Business travellers and tourists from Northern and Central Luzon, and those who wish to visit our popular local destinations may now fly Jetstar Asia to and from Japan via Clark with low fares," remarked President and CEO of Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) Alexander Cauguiran.
"Jetstar Asia is one of our dependable partners in the development of Clark airport. The newest Clark-Osaka route will be a welcome addition to the growing number of passengers and to Clark's 166 international weekly flights."
To celebrate the new flights, Jetstar Asia yesterday introduced a special 24-hour sale for its flights from Clark to Osaka from 9 a.m. to 8.59 a.m. at P2,198, one-way.
