Although Ruffa Gutierrez has admitted that a mystery guy is making her eyes sparkle these days, she refused to divulge more details.
 
“Text-text lang kami. ‘Wag n’yo nang alamin, grabe kayo,” she said on “Showbiz News Ngayon” recently.

No amount of prodding was able to make Ruffa identify her new source of inspiration.

“Ano ang aaminin ko sa inyo?” she squealed.

However, when coaxed for more information, Ruffa acquiesced with a “binata naman siya” response.

“Friends pa lang kami. Makikilala nyo siya one day. Wala pa akong boyfriend. Ayoko kasing ako ang magpakilala sa inyo, pangit naman ‘yon, ‘di ba?”

In a previous “SNN” taped interview, Ruffa’s mother, Annabelle Rama, told the public that her daughter is, indeed, “inspired.”

“Alam ko may inspirasyon siya pero hindi ko alam kung sino,” Annabelle said.

The feisty mom acknowledged that Ruffa is a tad wiser now when it comes to matters of the heart. 

“Kasi nakikita ko parang wise siya ngayon eh. Marunong na siyang pumili. Hindi niya dinidibdib unlike before na pag na in-love iyan, tuloy tuloy.”

To which Ruffa said: “Oh, my God, I’m so touched, I will cry! I’m happy na nagtitiwala na si mommy sa akin. Kasi she knows naman that I won’t do anything na makakasira sa akin, makakasira sa mga anak ko.”

Ruffa was once linked to heartthrob John Lloyd Cruz. They were spotted in the US while about to enter a hotel. The actress had consistently denied that romance brews between them.
