Sarah dressed to thrill in major show
Sarah Geronimo will definitely be dressed to thrill when she takes the stage for her “Record Breaker” concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The gowns she will be wearing in the show were designed exclusively for the pop princess by four of the country’s most notable couturiers.
For her opening number, Sarah will wear a green, beaded jumpsuit with an Avengers/Dominatrix theme created by Dennis Lustico, and thigh-high boots by Guiseppi Zanotti. The leather boots were bought in Hong Kong.
Her next outfit comes from Rhett Eala, who designed many of her gowns.
Rajo Laurel’s contribution is a Sergeant Pepper-inspired gold brocade jacket and passenmenterie details, with a gold mesh draped dress for the inner outfit.
Cary Santiago weighs in with a Swan Lake-inspired tulle outfit in black and white with quilted details.
The dazzling costumes accentuate the effervescent image of Sarah, who will be performing at the Big Dome for the fourth time.
This time she will be joined by a glittering array of guests which includes Billy Crawford, Luis Manzano, Vhong Navarro, Christian Bautista and Charlie Green.
Rico Gutierrez, in charge of production for “Record Breaker,” promises that the concert “will engage the audience’s senses. We’ll have six spectacular Las Vegas segments.”
Louie Ocampo is musical director for “Record Breaker.”
“Record Breaker” is produced by Viva Concerts & Events, Inc.
