Rizal Gamefowl Breeders Association (RGBA) members start their quest for the Bakbakan crown this Thursday when the first of two 3-stag eliminations is held at the Blue Mountain in Cogeo, Antipolo City starting at 1 p.m.

“I’m happy with the turnout. The more entries we can field in, the better are our chances of bagging our first Bakbakan trophy,” RGBA president Joey Sy said.
Seventy-two entries collide today in a 108-fight program.

Leading the roster of competitors are RGBA’s most prominent members that include 2009 Breeder of the Year Pros Antonio, 2009 Stag Fighter of the Year Joey Sy and Ariel Alcantara, lady cockers Osang dela Cruz and Josie de Guzman, Tony King, Boy Gamilla, Ric Bautista, Vice Mayor Emil Condez and Mon Talavera, Buddy Ernano, Thunderbird’s 2007 Breeder of the Year Dr. Boy Tuazon, among others.
