Cebu Pacific cuts fares for Laoag-Manila flights
Cebu Pacific (CEB) has reduced its Laoag-Manila year-round “Go Lite” fare from P988 to P788. This is the lowest possible fare for this route, and is available upon early booking.
Passengers with check-in luggage will just add P100 to this fare. CEB also increased its Laoag-Manila frequency from five times weekly to daily flights starting last October 25.
This underscores CEB’s intra-Luzon flights as the most convenient way to travel to Manila and around the Philippines.
“CEB flights to Manila using its ATR and Airbus aircraft offer the fastest and more comfortable alternative to buses that usually take up hours of travel," said Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing Candice Iyog.
"Since CEB has the most routes and destinations in the country, business and leisure travel passengers can also connect to 31 domestic destinations from Manila like Cebu, Cagayan de Oro or Davao,” Iyog said.
“Passengers who wish to book online but don’t have credit cards may still do so and pay through our partner banks via ATM or over-the-counter transactions. This is one innovation that will benefit those looking for ease in booking and paying for their CEB flights,” she added.
Cebu Pacific has also started began daily flights from Ozamiz to Manila from its former four times weekly service.
This new daily frequency gives passengers more alternatives to travelers in the province of Misamis Occidental. It departs Ozamiz at 7:50 a.m. and its return flight leaves Manila at 5:55 a.m.
CEB also flies daily from Ozamiz to Cebu. The inter-island flight leaves Ozamiz at 12:40 p.m. and its return flight departs Cebu at 11:30 a.m.
The lowest possible year-round “Go Lite” fare for the Ozamiz-Manila route is P1,988. For the Ozamiz-Cebu route, it’s P1,188. Passengers with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.
“Cebu Pacific offers the most routes and destinations in the Philippines. By increasing the frequencies of our Ozamiz flights, we hope to stimulate the market in the Northern Mindanao are, especially with our trademark low fares. Hopefully, the tourism and economy of Ozamiz and surrounding areas can be boosted with our new daily flights,” said Iyog. (EHL)
