Taylor Momsen: Blondie doppelganger?

You may know Taylor Momsen as the aspiring fashion designer Jenny Humphrey in TV’s Gossip Girl. But, Momsen seems to be taking a little detour towards the rock star route. When she’s not shooting for the popular CW series, the 16-year old actress can be seen performing with her post-grunge band, Pretty Reckless. Recently signed to Interscope Records, the band is set to release its debut album sometime this fall.

Momsen cites Debbie Harry, Courtney Love, and Joan Jett as her musical influences. But seen of late in messy bleach blonde hair, dark eye makeup and lots of leather, the influence obviously has oozed down to her personal, very downtown biker chic style. She does pull off the Debbie-slash-Courtney look real well and we love it especially when she puts an unexpected color to her predictably dark ensemble.
