The final drive for the overall championship begins this Friday for front running Alta Vista Golf and Country Club of Cebu and the only two clubs still with a chance of winning it as the 10th Sta. Lucia Lucia Golf Tour resumes at the Summit Point Golf Club course in Lipa Batangas.

The Cebuanos flew in on Thursday morning hoping to protect a three-point lead over the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club of Davao in today’s competitions at the Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed Summit Point course.

Alta Vista, which has 85 points following a big comeback in the Visayas leg it hosted last month, is on a special mission as it is out to match the four overall titles won by Eagle Ridge which lies in third place 12 points adrift at 73.
