5 shabu peddlers fall in Pampanga buy-bust

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Police arrested five suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Pineda Compound, Barangay Dau, this city, on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Suspects were identified as Carla Ramirez, an alias “Elmer,” 37; Jeffrey Comedia, Peter Contreras, and Jonathan Deovera.

Seized from them were seven heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing five grams and worth P38,000, sling bag, a caliber .38 revolver with three bullets, and the buy-bust money.

Suspects are under the custody of the police appropriate charges for violation of Republic Acts 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition) are being prepared against them.
