Woman hit, killed by tractor-trailer in Manila

A 54-year-old woman was killed after she was hit by a tractor-trailer while crossing the highway in Manila on Friday morning.

The Manila Police District identified the victim as Aileen Rada.

Police said that an Isuzu tractor-trailer being driven by Marvin Santos was traversing the southbound lane of OsmeÃ±a Highway in Malate around 11:54 a.m. when it hit Rada.

The victim then fell on the ground and was dragged several meters away.

Police said, the suspect will face charges for Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide.
