Apart from being busy with the yearly MaAga ang Pasko project (now on its 15th year), Aga Muhlach prepares himself for upcoming movies. At the recent MaAga ang Pasko kick-off, Aga discloses details of his movies with three of today’s biggest celebrities – Regine Velasquez, Angel Locsin, and former flame Lea Salonga:

First is his movie with Regine Velasquez with a working title, “Of All The Things.” Aga related, “My movie with Regine is almost halfway done. We started shooting halos sa mga government offices, sa kalye kaya mainit.” He also added that Viva targets Jan. 8, 2010 as playdate, “Sana umabot pero ewan ko. Pero kung ako masusunod, I want it on Valentine’s Day.”

Even before the Aga-Regine movie started filming, he said that it was supposed to be Aga-Angel Locsin movie first. “Dapat talaga si Angel muna. Sana kung wala siyang gagawin [kaya hindi nauna yung movie namin]. But as promised by Tita Malu of Star Cinema, Direk Olive Lamasan will direct our movie,” said Aga.

He finds his movie with Angel really exciting and he looks forward to it because “the movie I’m doing next year is kind of edgy. I’m playing a priest there. So we’re working on the story. It’s not the typical story.” Though he stressed that his movies with Angel and Lea still have no working titles.

“My movie with Lea will happen maybe next next year pa [after my movie with Angel] so talagang nagpapapayat ako,” Aga quipped.

Asked to comment about the recent wedding of his son with Janice De Belen, Iggi Boy, he briefly said, “Yes, napag-usapan na naming lahat and it stops there. Kasi unang-una wala sa industriya ang anak ko. I think it’s unfair na pag-usapan [pa] so we have to understand that.”

Kris wants Aga to play Ninoy

After announcing that she wants Piolo Pascual to play the role of her father, Kris Aquino announces anew in “Showbiz News Ngayon” that she wants Aga Muhlach to play the role of Ninoy Aquino.

Asked to comment on her statement Aga, shocked and stunned said, “Wow! Really? Nakahanda na yung buhok ko oh. Yes, wow. Mahirap gawin yun pero pag-aaralan kong gawin yun. Wow talaga? Di ko alam yun. Nahiya ako. Bahala na. Kakayanin ko kung ako man, I’ll try my best. But thank you for at least considering me. Thank you Kris!”

Aga extends support to Roderick Paulate

Still on Aga...With the demise of Roderick Paulate’s Mamang (as he calls his mom), Aga Muhlach extended his support for his loving friend for years.

At the same encounter with Juicy Corner he said, “Nakikiramay ako sa mahal kong Roderick Paulate, sa aking mahal na Pre. Alam ko mabigat ang pinagdadaanan mo. Alam ko kung gaano mo kamahal ang iyong Mamang but maging masaya na tayo [dahil] makakapagpahinga na siya ngayon. Basta nandito kami para sa ’yo.”
