The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) will hold the opening derby of its cockfighting circuit on December 15 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The sports event is sponsored by Cong. Iggy Arroyo, Ellan Nagaño, and Pete Ison. This derby follows the highly successful NCA Stag Big Event.

On January 5, 2010, the NCA will hold another derby to be hosted by Gerry Ramos and Ferdie Buensalida.

The Metro Manila bets will be bannered by Gerry Ramos, Ferdie Buensalida, Elmer Nepomuceno, Patrick Antonio, Mario Villamor, James Uy, Manny and Arman Santos, Jimmy Ang, Jun Santiago, Ernie Austria, Rey Allas, Hessie Mallillin, Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, T. Sevilla, Ontong Fortuno, Eric dela Rosa, and Butchoy.

From Negros Occidential, Cong. Iggy Arroyo leads the delegation while Luding Bungaling, Gov. Ito Ynares, and Danny Teves lead the Southern Tagalog group. 
Ricky Magtoto spearheads the delegation from Bicol while Bebot Villar, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, and Ruel Ricafort will lead Luzon bets.
