A new movement, equally inspiring as the lyrics of Noel Cabangon, has been born to fully embrace the values of being the “upright Filipino,” and choose the next leaders that would restore the people’s faith in government.

“Mabuting Pilipino, the movement, is the perfect marriage between the song and the proactive stance we choose to take in initiating the change that is needed in our society,” explains Mabuting Pilipino movement spokesperson Candace Giron.

“Noel’s song brings forth the very message of our group – to restore the integrity of the Filipino people. To achieve this, we believe in electing leaders with integrity,” Giron adds.

Mabuting Pilipino is now actively calling on volunteers who would like to support its activities, such as its information campaign and poll watching.

A grand launch for the movement is scheduled in November, and with no less than Cabangon performing the song himself and the Liberal Party’s standard bearer Noynoy Aquino expected to be in attendance.
