The obedience, agility and capability for protection will be showcased by German Shepherd dogs this Sunday when the first GSDF Chairman’s Cup and 14th Landesgruppen Sieger Show is held at the Ayala Alabang Cuenca Football Field.

The Southern Luzon German Shepherd Dog Association (SLGSDA), in partnership with NLGSDA and WVGSDA, will hold its 1st GSDF Chairman’s Cup and 14th Landesgruppen Sieger Show this Sunday at the Ayala Alabang Cuenca Football Field back-to-back with the BEC St. James Christmas Bazaar in Muntinlupa City.

The SLGSDA, headed by Dr. Ray Valenzuela and Francis Lumunsad, has invited top European SV-Judge Tonny Joergensen to scrutinize and render judgment on the German Shepherd entries in the event supported by Phoenix Publications, Vivere Suite, Gardenia Bread, Eukanuba, Vitality, Canibae Dog Food, Go Natural, TopServe Group of Companies, Maxitrend, Pagcor, Mr. Henry Babiera, and Coun. Elmer Espeleta.

Cash prizes and giant trophies are in store for the Top SGs of 12-18 and 18-24 months and the top three in the Open male and female class which will determine the SIEGER and SIEGERIN of the 1st GSDF Chairman’s Cup.

Competitions in the puppy class (3/6/6-9/9-12 months) will start at exactly 9 a.m. while the contests in the intermediate, young, and Open class kick off at 2 p.m. after the ER-K9 obedience, agility, and protection exhibition of highly-trained German Shepherds.

“The SLGSDA, NLGSDA and WVGSDA have entered no less than 100 entries with able support from CLGSDA/NCR, CVGSDA, Southern and Northern Mindanao GSDA. It’s the first of its kind,’’ said Cong. Ramah Nava.
