The elderly Filipino woman was identified as “Mila”, according to an exclusive interview with News.com.au, in which she discussed the details of the incident.
The 66-year-old Filipina was still recovering from her kidney removal due to cancer and was about to visit a sick friend when she boarded a train in Melbourne. Suddenly, she began “coughing from time to time,” in which caught the attention of the teenagers who gave her intimidating stares.
“The girl, she keeps staring at me. After a while I asked her to stop looking at me and that’s when the other girl started yelling,” Mila said.
The teenagers shouted “So what (if we look at you), who gives a f
ch,” “Motherf
king curry muncher,” and “Go back to your own f**king country,” were some of the racist curses two Australian teenagers shouted to an elderly Filipino woman on a viral Facebook video posted last week.

king country,” and “I don’t know you, you don’t know me. It’s my country, it’s not your f**king country.” Mila expressed her disappointment at the teenagers. “I couldn’t believe their mouths. It’s never happened to me before and I’ve been commuting for a while. It went for a long time, and it only stopped when they got off,” she stated. “I’m not worried about seeing them again. I just want them to know they can’t act like that. They have to stop doing it. That behavior is disgusting,” Mila added. According to ABS-CBN News, the footage was uploaded by Patricia Bonnar, who encountered the happening along with her two friends, Andree Maxwell and Suzie Piggot. The three of them defended the Filipino woman. "We couldn't sit back and do nothing. We moved up and sat next to Mila to support her until these feral girls got off the train," Bonnar explained.
