Ex-PDEA agent, 2 others killed in Laguna shootout

Estacio San Pablo City, Laguna – A former agent of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) who allegedly turned to selling “shabu” and two of his suspected cohorts were killed in a police anti-narcotics operation in this city the other day. Senior Superintendent Kirby John Kraft, director of the Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO), identified the suspects as former PDEA agent Reynaldo Dante, and his pals Wilbert Sardido and one still unidentified man. Kraft said Dante and his companions were the subject of a buy-bust operation at 5 a.m. Wednesday at Kalibato Lake Resort in Sitio Biuyan, Barangay St. Angel, here.
