Dare to be Fit ’N Right fun run

Set to happen at 6 a.m. on Nov. 22 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds is the awaited Del Monte Fit  ’N Right’s Dare to be Fit ’N Right Challenge Fun Run. This is Del Monte’s way of campaigning for health and fitness via running, undoubtedly today’s most popular solo sport.

Interested participants have the chance to win cash and special prizes from Del Monte Fit ’N Right and the other sponsors like SM Mall of Asia, SM Hypermart, Asianic, Fitness First, Gardenia, Lenovo, Manila Bulletin, Mitsubishi, Runnerspeak, Solar Sports, Tai Chi, Takbo.ph and Taste Asia. There are three categories: The 3K, 5K and 10K. A total of P300,000 in prizes are at stake. Franco Laurel shines in ‘Sweeney Todd’

One of the country’s premier singer-actors Franco Laurel returns to theater big time by playing the lead romantic role in Repertory Philippines “Sweeney Todd” which opens on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Onstage 2 in Greenbelt 1, Makati City.

Considered by many as one of the greatest musical scores of the 20th century, “Sweeney Todd” casts Franco as Anthony, a young man who rescues and befriends Sweeney and, later, falls in love with his daughter, Johanna.
