Queen of Philippine Movies Susan Roces has signed up with GMA-7 for the Christmaserye, “Sana Ngayong Pasko.”

“Nung inalok sakin 'to [ay] hindi ako nag-dalawang-isip na tanggapin kasi madamdamin ang istorya [at] gusto ko 'yong role,” said Susan.

She considers the project as a Christmas gift for herself since December marks the death anniversary of her husband, Fernando Poe Jr., who passed away on Dec. 14, 2004.

“This is a God-sent project because December is the loneliest month of the year for me. This is my Christmas gift because it will keep me busy---too busy for me to be lonely,” she said.

Also starring in “Sana” are Christopher de Leon, Gina Alajar, and TJ Trinidad.

Mark Herras denies wooing Jennylyn back

“StarStruck” alumnus Mark Herras denied reports that he is trying to rekindle romance with his former flame Jennylyn Mercado.

“Hindi pa naman [ako nanliligaw]. Hindi ko alam kung bakit kumalat [ang ganyang balita]. [Siguro kasi napansin] sa set na parang nagiging close [kami],” Mark clarified.

Also disproving write-ups about their rumored relationship are LJ Reyes and Paolo Avelino. Reports have it that the two were seen smooching at the airport.

“Hindi po [totoo]. Hindi ko siya kasama sa [show sa] Middle East,” LJ cleared.

Another “StarStruck” alumna, Arci Muñoz, admitted dating Callalily front man Kean Cipriano.

“Matagal na kaming (referring to Kean) magkakilala pero ngayon lang kami naging close talaga. Lumalabas kami,” Arci confessed.

The four are set to host daily updates on “StarStruck V.”

Bunny Paras ties the knot

Actress Bunny Paras tied the knot with boyfriend of three years, Filipino-American Tom Greenway, on Oct. 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bunny said on “Startalk” that her daughter, Moira, has accepted Tom.

“Tom really tried to get to know her (Moira). Tinutulungan siya sa homework niya. Mabilis silang nag-click,” she shared.

The newlyweds are considering adopting Moira so she could carry Tom’s name.
