Le Club sets French wine fest
It will be another glittering evening of good food, great music and French wine as the 16th Soirée Beaujolais unfolds on Thursday, Nov. 19, at Sofitel Philippine Plaza, CCP Complex, Pasay City.
Organized by the French Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines Le Club, the wine festival is inspired by the traditional grape harvest feast and launch of the Beaujolais Nouveau young red wine from the French region of Burgundy.
The event will be hosted by Johnny Litton. Capping the evening is Nonoy Lopez and his band in the dance party courtesy of AGS Four Winds.
The event is supported by Hilton Cebu Resort and Spa, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, Total (Philippines) Corp., Nescafé Gold, BNP Paribas, Asiatype, Sanofi Pasteur, Sanofi Aventis, PDP Digital Inc., and SDV (SCAC) Philippines, and the Department of Tourism (DoT) as special patron. Benefactors are the Embassy of France, SOS International, Deco Candles Inc., and Supply Oilfield Services, Inc. Soirée Beaujolais moves to Marco Polo Cebu on Nov. 27 for the third edition of the wine festival in the Queen City of the South. E-mail le_club@globelines.com.ph for details.
Spirit of ’67 at Conways Thursday night
Seasoned gig artist Spirit of ’67 band performs on Thursday night at the Conways Bar at the Makati Shangri-La.
The band are amongst this month’s performing lineup that also includes Side A (Mondays), 3rd Avenue (Tuesdays), Hi-Way 54 (Wednesdays), Version 4.0 (Fridays) and Rockin Revival (Saturdays). Showtime at 8:30 p.m.
