A new movement, equally inspiring as the lyrics of Noel Cabangon’s song “Ako Ay Mabuting Pilipino,” Mabuting Pilipino has been born to fully embrace the values of being the “mabuting Pilipino,” and choose the next leaders that would restore the people’s faith in government and help in the transformation of society.
Mabuting Pilipino, the movement, is the perfect marriage between the song and the proactive stance we choose to take in initiating the change that is needed in our society,” explains Mabuting Pilipino movement spokesperson Candace Giron. “Noel’s song brings forth the very message of our group – to restore the integrity of the Filipino people. To achieve this, we believe in electing leaders with integrity.”
Mabuting Pilipino is now actively calling on volunteers who would like to support its activities, such as its information campaign. Visit www.mabutingpilipino.com or be a friend of the Mabuting Pilipino on for its activities and advocacies.

Last part of ‘Balik-Bayan’s’ anniversary special Friday
“Balik-Bayan,” the only celebrity-oriented travel show on Philippine television, closes off its 4th Anniversary celebration and steps into its fifth year as host Drew Arellano explores the rest of Leyte on his own on Friday, Nov. 20, 10:15 p.m. on Q Channel 11.
On Friday, Drew gets more adrenalin rush as he tries his hands on other exhilarating sports – scuba diving, jet skiing, surfing, wakeboarding, and skimboarding. He does all these while reminiscing on the many places he’s been to and the different personalities he’s been with on the show’s four solid years on television.
And because a trip to Leyte is never complete without a sample of their favorite drink – the tuba – Drew joins the whole province and takes a shot of the drink in an attempt to make it to the Guinness World Records.
Drew then goes restaurant-hopping at “Calle Zaragoza,” “Dahil sa Iyo,” and “Rafael’s Farm” to seal off the celebration with several hearty meals.
Oplan 2021 Exposé
In a perceived similarity over the Oplan Sagitarius exposé of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, the public awaits with bated breath the supposed exposé of his son and presidential candidate Noynoy Aquino on the parallel revelation.
It will be remembered that Senator Ninoy Aquino was the first one to reveal publicly of former President Marcos’ plan to declare Martial Law, otherwise known as Proclamation 1081.
Political analysts are not discounting the possibility of such a situation but at the same time cannot confirm the veracity of the information.
However, a closer look at the young Aquino’s photograph reveals certain discrepancies in the number of hair strands.
Experts say this could be the work of a great impersonator. Further analysis of the numbers in Oplan 2021 bear a striking referral on Nov. 20 and 21 which are actually the show dates of a forthcoming show at the Music Museum by ace impressionist Willie Nepomuceno.
This is further attested by the Philippine Veterinary Drug Association Foundation and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) who are the beneficiary and sponsor respectively of “Will the real Willie Nep please stand up!”
