Those who worship fashion would agree with Chanel’s top man Karl Lagerfeld when he declared: “Fashion is the best motivation for losing weight.”  We all want to lose those extra pounds to fit into our dream outfit, subconsciously or not.

Aside from looking good in your own clothes, the Ultimate Wardrobe, as handpicked by Manila’s fashion editors and stylists, have enticed weight losers to join Nestle’s latest challenge. An Hermes belt, a Chanel dress, designer goods from Rhett Eala, Michi Calica, Kate Torralba and Jun Escario are among the prizes they will get to keep if they win.

Participants have to form a team of two to eight members who will follow the 14-day Nestle Fitnesse meal plan, paired with their choice of exercise routine; and post their progress online at http://www.fitnesse-14days.com.  The deal?  The Nestle Show Off Your Shape involves a two-week, low-fat, whole-carb regimen, and replacing breakfast and one more meal (either lunch or dinner) with Nestle Fitnesse.

Sounds easy, right?  Will it work?  Only one way to find out. To qualify, these challengers showed up at the Greenbelt Park in Makati last Saturday and had their weight checked and recorded. Now, what happens in the next 14 days is up to them. Winners will be announced and awarded on December 10. We can’t wait!
