As part of its commitment for better service, Parañaque City Mayor Florencio Bernabe Jr. continues with its efforts in improving livelihood prospects of his constituents.

Apart from its skills training, cooperative development and community organizing programs, the city government promotes employment by regularly holding job fairs.

Companies, on the other hand, gladly participate in these activities knowing that the city is a good source of skilled manpower, college graduates and industry professionals.

Following its job fair for Teleperformance call center jobs last Friday, at the SM City Sucat is a similar activity was held at the Parañaque City Hall yesterday.

The event was organized by Youth and Sports Development Adviser Benjo Bernabe and was coordinated by the Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office (PLRMO) headed by Doris Marquez.

Participating company Tele Development recruited for its call center vacancies while My English Learning Center (MELC) processed applications for its vacant teaching jobs as Total Development Multi-Purpose Cooperative interviewed applicants for its various open positions.

“We aim to continuously provide our constituents with livelihood opportunities as a means of empowering them and improving their economic and social status while contributing to the growth of commerce, industry, economy, city, and country,” Bernabe said.
