ASUS UL30A - Unlimited Possibilities

Aside from functionality and features, appearance and style are being considered by users when they choose their notebooks today. It’s like choosing a partner that would be with you everywhere you go. Don’t you think it would be nice if you’re carrying a notebook that is a “head turner”? Well if you like a notebook that has power and appeal - you can’t go wrong with the ASUS UL30A ultraportable notebook.
The ASUS UL30A is ASUS’s first entry into the low-cost ultraportable notebook market. It measuresg about 12.9? x 9.3? x 1? and it weighs a litle more than most netbooks, at 3.7 pounds. It features the latest Intel Core2 Duo SU7300 processor. It comes with ASUS Turbo33 Technology, a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce G 210M graphics card, ASUS GraphiX Boost that extends the battery life of up to 12 hours.
You can’t miss the stylish finishing of this notebook. It has a full-size keyboard, and I noticed that the Home, End and Page Up/Down keys share their own column on the right with the Delete and right arrow keys for easy keyboard navigation.
The touchpad is well-positioned enabling me to rest both my palm on each side providing comfort and easy typing experience. The touchpad also supports the two-finger scroll multi-touch gesture.
I appreciate that there were only two buttons at the deck, unlike other noteboks where the decks are cluttered due to multimedia buttons and launch keys. The left button is for launching Express Gate (switching between power profiles). The right button is the power button.
The UL30A also comes with a 0.3-megapixel webcam. On the left side, you will find the HDMI and VGA connections with one USB port, while on the right, you will find the Ethernet, headphone, mic, two USB ports, and a 5-in-1 card reader.
The ASUS UL30A is one great machine that combines power and elegance into one. I would say that it’s a blend of form and function plus it delivers more than what is is expected to do.
