Film producer Lily Monteverde aka Mother Lily reportedly gave actress-talk show host Kris Aquino three expensive rings as tokens of gratitude for accepting a role in “Mano Po 6” gratis et amore.

Kris volunteered to appear in the movie to show her appreciation for the continued support Mother Lily has been giving the Aquino family all these years.

Mother Lily, a source told, was very touched by Kris' gesture.

"I really love her (Kris)," Mother Lily was quoted as saying.

Kris' guest appearance in “Mano Po 6” is also a thank you of sorts to Megastar Sharon Cuneta who appeared on her brother, Sen. Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino’s info video for free.

For that, Kris received a meaningful gift from Sharon Cuneta -- a yellow Chanel bag.

"Please don't think I'm insensitive talking about a Chanel bag dahil hirap ang bayan. Pero kinilig talaga ako na 'yong ina-idol kong Megastar liked me enough to give me a gift," Kris said in her text message to her fans a few weeks back.

Kris, who will play the role of Sharon's best friend in the movie, was initially scheduled to shoot only for two days but it was extended to lengthen Kris’ participation.

Incidentally, Kris reportedly bought a new luxurious van to replace the Toyota Land Cruiser she and husband James Yap sold to augment funds needed for Noynoy's campaign.

In her past interviews, Kris claimed that half of her earnings go directly to Noynoy's political war chest.

It is also to Kris' credit that other celebrities appeared for free in Noynoy's info video.

Kris is, again, a few millions richer now because of a slew of new endorsements including 555 Tuna, Downy Antibac, and Smart.
