Investigation showed that the suspects allegedly shot to death Maglinao during a drinking spree at his residence in Christopher 2 Subdivision in Barangay Mayapa.

Warrant and Subpoena operatives led by SPO3 Oscar Cauilan were armed with arrest warrant issued by Judge Alberto Serrano of Calamba City Regional Trial Court, Branch 92, for murder charges when they swooped down on the alleged hideouts of the suspects.
