Singer-actress Ciara Sotto is altar-bound and her cousin, megastar Sharon Cuneta, is all for it.

Ciara said her boyfriend Joe Oconer proposed to her last March while they were in Laguna.

“He took me lang to the place na meron siyang kinuhang lot. He just wanted to show me. So, ‘yun,” Ciara said in an interview with Lhar Santiago aired Nov. 26 on “24 Oras.”

Ciara, who is cast in the movie “Mano Po 6” with her cousin megastar Sharon Cuneta, was interviewed on location in Beijing, China.

Most likely, it will be a garden wedding for Ciara and her boyfriend. No date has been chosen for the wedding date.

“This one is parang, for her the best talaga. He [Joe] is such a good person. He’s a very good person. I’m very happy that she’s ending up with him,” Sharon said.

For the first time, moviegoers will see a different Ciara in “Mano Po 6.” She will engage in a love scene with Ryan Eigenmann. This is her most daring portrayal ever in her entire career.

The intimate scenes, Ciara said, had the blessings of her would-be-husband.

“He understands naman. Sobrang patient siya with me.”

The singer-actress met her boyfriend in one of the “Eat Bulaga” sorties in the US.
