Proud Pinay Olivia Rodrigo makes mark on Spotify

She is just 17, but Olivia Rodrigo has already notched a huge hit.

Her song "Drivers License" is the biggest hit on Spotify this year.

So far, the track has hit a 100 million streams on the aforementioned platform, hitting the milestone barely 10 days after it first dropped.

The accompanying music video, on the other hand, has 37 million views on YouTube.

To those not in the know, Rodrigo first shot to fame via Disney network's "Bizaardvark" series where she played the role of Paige Olvera.

She followed it up with another marked appearance as Nini Salazar-Roberts on the Disney+ series "High School Musical: The Musical."

"Drivers License" is her first single and based on its success, she is only going to get bigger.

She hasn't been to the Philippines, but she is no doubt proud of her roots.

Olivia once declared: "I'm Olivia Rodrigo, I'm a Filipina, and I'm a lumpia fan."
