In celebration of its 60 years of making soap operas, ABS-CBN declared young superstar Judy Ann Santos as the “Face of Soap Opera” and “Queen of Teleserye.”

“Flattering, siyempre, parang di pa rin ako makapaniwala. Marami masyadong magagaling na artista ang [ABS-CBN]. I owe it all to ABS-CBN,” Judy Ann said of the honor.

Judy Ann shares the achievement with her long-time best friend and former onscreen nemesis, Gladys Reyes.

“Di rin naman ako makikilala kung di rin naman sa tandem namin ni Gladys sa ‘Mara Clara.’ So kung may isang tao man akong kasama sa achievement na ‘to, si Gladys ‘yun,” she said.

Come 2010, the Kapamilya network will finally air Judy Ann’s comeback teleserye, “Habang May Buhay,” which was postponed due to story revisions.

Heart Evangelista, Richard Gutierrez lock lips in Prague

“Full House” lead stars Heart Evangelista and Richard Gutierrez warmed up the cold Old Town Square in Prague, Czech Republic when they locked lips in the middle of the market.

“Wala kasi sa plano ‘yun. Na-feel lang ni Direk [Mark Reyes] na it’s such a perfect place. So nag-request siya kung pwede. Siyempre hindi naman kami makakatanggi,” recalled Richard.

The romantic setting of Prague, which will be the backdrop of some of the scenes in “Full House,” failed to spark romance between the two although they admit to have grown closer.

“Ngayon closer na kami, napag-uusapan namin ang love life, [pati] mga problems namin,” said Heart.

She added: “We’re happy with our lives---not necessarily [our] love lives. It [love life] is not the only thing that makes one happy.”

Bong Revilla approves of Osang’s wish

Sen. Bong Revilla is all for actress Rosanna Roces’ wish to borrow her grandchild by her daughter Grace and his son Jolo for Christmas---if the baby’s parents will allow it.

 “Kung gusto niyang hiramin si Gab, siyempre sa pagkakaintidihan nila Jolo at Grace ‘yun. Walang problema sa’min ‘yun. Di namin pinagdadamot ‘yung bata,” said Revila.
