MB Daily News Update: 85% of Pinoys think PH is heading in right direction
A survey conducted by the OCTA Research Group showed that a huge majority of Filipinos thinks the country is heading toward the right direction despite the challenges brought about by inflation, the continuing Covid-19 pandemic, and the effects of the Russia-Ukraine war.
Senator Risa Hontiveros disclosed that 31 more Filipinos are still in Myanmar, victims of trafficking as they work for a scamming syndicate. Their plight was disclosed to the senator by one of the 12 Filipinos, who were in the first batch that was rescued by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
A big-time rollback in the price per liter of diesel is in the offing, with a P3.95-mark down expected on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022. Cost of gasoline will also go down by 85 centavos per liter.
The OCTA Research Group noted that the Covid-19 positivity rate is increasing in Metro Manila, and five Luzon provinces.
The Philippine Navy (PN) took delivery of two brand new Shaldag MK V fast interdiction craft-missile from Israel, and said it was ready to produce its own vessels by 2024.
