Madonna marks another milestone.
The singer-actress now has the distinction of having debuted a new single in Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart in five different decades.
She made the mark with her latest single “Popular” debuting on Billboard’s Hot 100 at number 43.
Madonna now has had singles debut on the Hot 100 for every decade starting in the 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, 2010 and the 2020’s.
Madonna shares the feat with fellow pop music icon Cher, making them the only female artists to have chart success in five different decades.
“Popular's” entry to the Hot 100 charts is special as it's Madonna's first time on the charts after an eight-year absence.
“Popular” also features Grammy-winning act The Weeknd and rap artist Playboi Carti.
