Actress Jang Seo-hee won the Daesang Award at the 2009 SBS Drama Awards for her role in the Korean drama series “Wife’s Temptation.”

The awards ceremony held Dec. 31 honored top actors in dramas for the year.

The Top Excellence Awards went to hunk actor So Ji-sub (“Whatever Happened in Bali,” “Glass Slippers”) for his role in “Cain & Abel” and actress Kim Mi-sook for “Brilliant Legacy” (aka “Shining Inheritance”).

On the other hand, actors Lee Seung-ki of “Brilliant Legacy” and Park Shi-hoo of “Family Honor” and actress Kang Seok-woo of “Smile, You” were given the Special Production Awards together with Kang Seok-woo (“Smile, You) who won as best supporting actor and Cha Hwa-yeon (“Angel’s Temptation”) as best supporting actress.

In the Drama Special category, the winners are “My Name is Kim Sam Soon” star Kim Sun-ah as best actress for “City Hall,” Chan Seung-won of “City Hall” as best actor, Baek Seung-hyun of  “Cain & Abel” as best supporting actor and Na Young-hee of “Style” as best supporting actress.

In the Serial Drama category, the winners are: Byun Woo-min, best actor for “Wife’s Temptation;” Kim Seo-hyung, best actress for “Wife’s Temptation;” Choi Joon-yong, best supporting actor for “Wife’s Temptation;” and Lee Hwi-hyang, best supporting actress for “Loving You A Thousand Times.”

“Boys over Flowers” star Kim Bum was given the New Star Award for his role in “Dream” along with fellow actors Lee Yong-woo of “Style,” Lee Hong-ki of “You’re Beautiful,” Jung Yong-hwa of “You’re Beautiful,” Jung Kyeo-woon of “Loving You A Thousand Times,” and Kim Tae-hyun “Angel’s Temptation.”

The New Star Awards were also given to actresses Son Dam-bi of “Dream,” Lee Min-jung of “Smile, You,” Oh Young-shil  of “Wife’s Temptation,” Park Shin-hye  of “You’re Beautiful,” Lee So-yeon  of “Angel’s Temptation” and  Lee Tae-im  of “Don’t Hesitate.”

The other winners are:

Teens’ Star Award (actors): So Ji-sub  of “Cain & Abel,” Cha Seung-won  of “City Hall,” Lee Seung-ki  of “Brilliant Legacy,” Bae Soo-bin  of “Brilliant Legacy” and Jang Geun-seok  of “You’re Beautiful”

Teens’ Star Award (actresses): Han Hyo-joo  of “Brilliant Legacy,” Kim Sun-ah  of “City Hall,” Jang Seo-hee  of “Wife’s Temptation,” Lee Soo-kyung  of “Loving You A Thousand Times,” and Kim Hye-soo  of “Style”

Best Couple: Lee Seung-ki and Han Hyo-joo for “Brilliant Legacy”

Child Actor: Jung Yoon-seok  of “Wife’s Temptation” and Kim Soo-jung  of “Two Wives”

Netizens’ Popularity Award: Jang Geun-seok of “You’re Beautiful”

Producers: Yoon Jung-hee  of “Family Honor” and Jung Kyung-ho of “Ja Myung Go” and “Smile, You”

Lifetime Achievement Award: Park Hyo-jung of “Brilliant Legacy”
