New K-drama 'A Good Day to Be a Dog' with Cha Eun-woo, Park Gyu-young to premiere on Viu

Viu announced that its latest original series, "A Good Day to Be a Dog," is set to premiere on the streaming platform on Oct. 11.

Starring heartthrob Cha Eun-woo, Park Gyu-young, and Lee Hyun-woo, the drama promises a heartwarming experience for webtoon and K-drama fans.

Adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name, "A Good Day to be a Dog" tells the story of Han Hae Na (Park Gyu-young), an ordinary high school teacher who hides an extraordinary family secret.

Her family has been cursed for generations because of an ancestor's mistake. The curse is when they kiss someone, they turn into a dog at midnight for six hours and then return to their human form.

The transformation keeps happening until the person in their dog form kisses the same person again.

Because of the situation, Hae Na has to ask anyone with romantic intentions not to kiss her, which often discourages potential partners.

But one night, fate intervenes when a tipsy Hae Na accidentally kisses Jin Seo Won (Cha Eun-woo), a fellow teacher at the same high school, even though they have a distant professional relationship. What follows is a comedic adventure as Hae Na desperately tries to kiss Seo Won again.

However, Seo Won has a fear of dogs from a childhood incident. Despite this, he's a good-looking and charismatic teacher, making him a favorite among the students.

Cha Eun-woo, a K-pop idol, is known for his role in the drama “True Beauty.” Lee Hyun-woo will be playing Lee Bo Gyeom.
