After pairing with Box-Office King John Lloyd Cruz and Rayver Cruz, Popstar Sarah Geromino remains to be among the most sought-after leading ladies today as many of our current bankable young actors expressed their eagerness to work with her.

Sam Milby and Jason Abalos are two of those who expressed their intention to work with Sarah. What could have been an exciting team up was Sarah-Gerald Anderson but Sarah refused because of the unreasonable Kimerald fans attacking her.

At the recent launch of Cebuana Lhuiller’s 24K Loyalty Card, where the Popstar is their celebrity endorser, Sarah gave updates on her latest movie in the works, “Hating Kapatid,” with Young Superstar Judy Ann Santos. Here, Sarah will be paired with Luis Manzano. To this, she expressed, “Isang beses pa lang po kami nakakapag-shoot sa SM North ni Luis last Tuesday, tapos next week na po ulit.”

Asked how it was working with Luis, Sarah jested, “Komportable na ako katrabaho si Luis. Since good friends naman kami at nagkakasama sa ‘ASAP.’ Marami pa kami pagdadaanan ni Luis but so far komportable kami sa isa’t-isa. Pero kahit komedyante siya, seryoso din siya. Tulad nun napag-usapan namin yung mga gusto niyang gawin like gusto niyang pasukin ang politics pagdating ng araw. At gusto niyang mag-aral para gawin yun. Na-a-amaze ako sa mga plans ni Luis.”

Sarah also revealed that her team up with Luis is not like what she had with John Lloyd. “Dito kasi mas family-oriented at light comedy. Hindi kami romantic dito,” she cleared.

Heart is single but dating

MMFF Best Supporting Actress Heart Evangelista is definitely single these days. “But I am dating my first [ex] boyfriend Ian Dy,” this she revealed in a recent interview in Sinulog Festival in Cebu City. Along with Heart is the “Full House” cast who joined the Kapuso Mall Show at the Entertainment Center of SM City Cebu as well as the Kapuso Float in the Sinulog Grand Parade.

Said Heart, “I chose to be single but I’m not hiding the fact that I am dating my first boyfriend. Siguro for five months na. But we are not officially together. We are taking one day at a time.” To where this dating will lead, Heart expressed, “We’ll see. Na-trauma na kasi ako eh. Parang when you’re committed, it feels suffocating. The reason why I broke up with him [Ian] is because I want to experience life. Ngayon, I’m not yet ready eh and I have a work that doesn’t permit me to have a boyfriend. Ayokong maging unfair pagdating sa time.”

Asked to comment on ex-boyfriend Jericho Rosales’ being vocal about his unchanged feelings for Heart, she said, “Ako din naman eh. Echo will always have a special part in me. But life goes on and you really have to adapt to the change. Alam ko din naman yung ‘Pusong Ligaw.’ But I heard he is dating.”

Maxine & JC are definitely an item

If actions speak louder than words for Maxine Magalona and JC Tiuseco, then those around this denying-couple would be deaf by now.

On Monday afternoon, the two were seen walking side by side inside a posh establishment in Quezon City. Hands sweetly wrapped in each other’s, the two who looked every but the couple they did not want to admit to be, headed to the lobby elevator.

In one of those Kapuso events, Maxine told GMA News that they’re only friends and are just enjoying each other’s company. We do not know if it’s a requisite for young showbiz pairs to deny their relationship until breakup hits them.
