Princess Snell: Sexy before ‘StarStruck’

Shortly after the controversy over her rift with her former manager was brought up, Princess Snell dropped yet another explosive bomb: that she has posed for a men’s magazine.

However, she denied it at first that the “Marjorie Corwith” model seen on one of the magazine’s 2008 issues was her.

“Yes po, nakapag-pose na po ako sa men’s magazine. 'Yong Marjorie po, pangalan ko rin po 'yon, kasi po apat ang pangalan ko, Princess Tinkerbell Cristina Marjorie. Nung time po na ginawa ko 'yong photoshoot, para po 'yon sa portfolio ko,” she narrated on “Showbiz Central.”

What was planned simply for a portfolio turned into a public hot property when her photographer, Jay Tablante, who is one of the contributing photographers in the magazine, submitted her photos.

“Sabi po ng photographer ko, ‘Gusto mong i-post natin ‘yan sa magazine?’ Nag-yes po ako nung time na 'yon. Kaso hindi ko alam kung saang magazine,” she said.

The “StarStruck V” avenger apologized to those who were offended by her prior denial.

“Pasensya na sa lahat ng mga nagagalit kasi parang nagsinungaling ako na sinabi ko na hindi ako nag-pose sa men’s magazine,” she said. “Thankful ako na in-open ‘tong issue na ‘to and sa lahat ng bumubuo ng FHM, sana po wag kayong magalit sa’kin.”

It may have stirred another big controversy for the budding young star, but Princess has no regrets.

“I’m proud that I did that photo shoot. ‘Di siya bastos. I’m proud that I’m sexy,” she declared, adding that she’s willing to pose again for the magazine if the concept is good.

Julia Lopez: From seductive to productive

Julia Lopez has shed her sexy star image to rebuild her life. And while doing so, had helped do the same for the people in her community, thanks to her big time business.

She proudly told “Showbiz Central” that she owns 15 hectares of farm in Cebu, dedicated to growing fruits and breeding animals such as chickens, goats, and cows.

With over 100 workers, their homegrown mangoes are now being exported to the US, Japan, Hong Kong, and China.

Her earnings also allowed her to put up a chapel for their community.

She said she did these things not just for herself, but for the entire community in Carcar.

“Para sa mga tao na katulad ko na ang pinagdaanan, mahirap din.”

But Julia’s success story does not stop there: she was able to build a house, buy a car, and travel to Asia and Europe!

Julia’s life may be stable now, but underneath it all lies the pain inflicted by her mother.

“[Una], iniwan kami [ng nanay ko]. Twelve kaming magkakapatid, malilit pa lang. Pangalawa, pinasok niya kami bilang kasambahay dahil kagustuhan niya. [Panghuli 'yong] in-offer-an ko siya na mabuo ang family namin… [Pero] tinanggihan niya dahil may kinakasama siyang iba,” she recalled, in tears.

Still, the former sexy star hopes against hope that their family will be reunited.
