When undergarment brand Hanford was looking for a new endorser a few years back, basketball superstar Chris Tiu was top of mind. Apart from his fantastic command of the court, Tiu was also a model, television host, and businessman. His hosting Pinoy Records made him the perfect poster boy for Hanford’s latest youth campaign.

Tiu now has added politics to his activities, serving as barangay councilor in Makati City. But basketball remains his first love, and with this, his association with Hanford enables him to address certain athletic wear requirements.

“I can use Hanford products anytime, anywhere, 24/7,” Tiu explains the brand’s versatility which perfectly suits his active lifestyle. For him, Hanford boasts of quality materials matched with high design. He can use undershirts to sleep, tank tops for practice, supporters for games and the gym, since he plays basketball almost everyday.

Tiu has been endorsing Hanford for a year and a half now and considers it to be a privilege to be wearing such a prestigious underwear brand. “They are unlike other competitors, who have lots and lots of models,” Tiu says. “With Hanford, they are very selective, and to be chosen as one of the very few, I am very honored.”
