‘Santino’ is happy for ‘May Bukas Pa’ success

“May Bukas Pa” lead child star Zaijian Jaranilla is happy and thankful for the success of their year-long soap opera, which culminated last night, Feb. 5.

“Masayang-masaya po. Mami-miss ko sila [staff and crew]. Masaya akong nakasama ko sila,” said primetime’s most popular kid.

The finale reportedly featured over a hundred Kapamilya artists, who have made special appearances on the show, such as Toni Gonzaga, KC Concepcion, Maricar Reyes, and Judy Ann Santos, as well as various Kapamilya singers who rendered the soap’s theme song.

Zaijian’s next project is a movie with Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual.

‘Congrats, Derek Ramsey’ – Jake Cuenca

“Congrats, Derek Ramsey, for having a girl like Angelica Panganiban.”

These are Jake Cuenca’s words for the man who won the heart of his first showbiz crush, Angelica Panganiban.

Asked if he regrets not being able to get her sweet “yes” after two years of courtship, Jake said working with her makes him feel like the luckiest guy.

"Makatrabaho ko lang si Angelica, napakasuwerte ko na. Napakagaling umarte. Makasama lang ako sa isang frame na nandun siya, napakasuwerte ko na,” he enthused.

Jake is set to share more than one frame with the “Primetime Gem” in ABS-CBN’s first Mexicanovela adaptation, “Rubi.”
