The country’s top crooner is set to do a pre-Valentine show on Wednesday night at the Meralco Theater in Ortigas, simply dubbed “A Night With Richard Poon.” The singer is to be backed-up by a 15-piece big band, promising a repertoire of standards, pop, and even novelty.

Asked if a novelty medley would instead make the show less formal, Poon’s reply: “Not at all. I’m singing the songs in a big band arrangement and we will make it sound so class.”
