It’s work over love again for the country’s Box-Office and Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas this Feb. 14.

Rather than concentrating on her “special friend” from Athens, Greece, after traveling there to meet and get to know her chat-mate better, Ai Ai this Feb. 14 is dateless as of press time. The comedian stressed that her romantic interlude that night would be with her fans and audience to her Valentine’s Day show aptly titled “Ai Am Your Valentine” at the Tent City of the Manila Hotel.

Feb. 14 is also special for her as her latest ABS-CBN show “Pilipinas Got Talent” opens that night according to her. “Pilipinas Got Talent” is a franchise of the global phenomenon “Britain’s Got Talent.” It is also a nationwide talent reality show.

It is not surprising if Ai Ai delas Alas was cast as one of the show’s prestigious judges since the public knows how the comedian rose from the ranks. Ai Ai’s life story is admirable as obstacle and trials in her life didn’t stop her to reach for her dreams and achieve them. Her career’s milestones speak loudly of her accomplishments and how much she is loved by the Pinoys especially with her humor. Joining her as judges are Kris Aquino-Yap and former ABS-CBN President Freddie Garcia. The show is hosted by Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano.

“I’ll find time for my personal and love life after my work. I’m focused with ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ and my Valentine’s Day show. If I don’t work, I might end up with no money,” explained Ai Ai, laughing.

The comedian also added that at her age, she is more serious now when in comes to getting into a relationship. She would like to have a more “mature relationship” with someone in the future. And that someone should be a “lifetime partner material.”

“I went to Greece to personally meet him,” she explained. “I travelled there without knowing what would happen to me because I was interested in him. Life is short and I want these kinds of challenges in my life. And I had a wonderful experience!”

Staying in a hotel in Greece, she described her love affair with her “special someone” who is a handball player, to be wholesome.

“There were some kissing only,” laughed Ai Ai heartily. I was very Filipina there… I was just inside my hotel enjoying the ‘views.’”

Though love is in the air for Ai Ai, what she is grateful for are the numerous projects that’s coming her way. Aside from “Pilipinas Got Talent,” in the works for her is a drama-comedy show with awarded actor Aga Muhlach which she is very excited about. According to her, she still has two more movies with Star Cinema which she is just waiting for.

“I’m thankful to God for the blessings… I’m also thankful for ABS-CBN who has continually given me good projects. Life is good and I will surely take care of these blessings,” smiled Ai Ai.

With regards to her show, “Ai Am Your Valentine,” she said that her special guests are Mark Bautista, Rufa Mae Quinto and Danita Paner. Another milestone that Ai Ai fans should watch out for is her long awaited birthday concert.

“I’m coming back to the concert scene. And this is definitely going to be a very special show for my birthday,” she exclaimed.
