2 men wanted for rape, homicide arrested in Las Piñas City

Two men facing rape and homicide charges were arrested in separate anti-criminality operations conducted by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Jan 22 and 23.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspects were identified as alias Jeremy, 18; and Randy, 28.
Col. Jaime Santos, Las Piñas police chief, said Jeremy was arrested at around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan 22, in Bernabe Compound, Pulanglupa Uno, Las Piñas City.
Santos said Jeremy, who was tagged as the top two wanted person for rape, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nerina Anastacio-Mendinueto of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 199 on November 13,2023 with no bail recommended.

He said the Randy, who is wanted for homicide, was arrested at around 4:30 p.m. along Barangay Pulanglupa Uno, Las Piñas City.
The city police chief said Randy, who was top nine wanted person under district level, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ricardo Aglugub Moldez II, of RTC Branch 197 on December 28, 2023 with a bail recommended at P120,000.
Santos said the two suspects were immediately detained after their arrest.
