The Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations (COCOPEA) has said that Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III of the Liberal Party and Bro. Eddie Villanueva of Bangon Pilipinas Party are the two presidential candidates who will most likely meet their 10-Point Education Reform Agenda.

“It was Aquino in terms of his education reform that closely coincides with our 10-point agenda. His decisions in education reform are the closest,” said Dr. Paulo Campos, COCOPEA board of trustees member and president of the Philippine Association of Private Schools, Colleges and Universities.

Campos made the remarks during a press conference on the last day of the two-day 3rd National COCOPEA Congress held last Thursday and Friday at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

“Aside from Aquino, Bro. Eddie actually made the time to do research and try to understand those certain challenges in education,” added Dr. Vicente Fabella, COCOPEA board of trustees member and president of Jose Rizal University and Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities.
