Dennis backs out of surprising Heart

Dennis Trillo was supposed to surprise his crush Heart Evangelista on “Showbiz Central” by substituting with host Mo Twister, who is currently in Dallas, Texas, on the “Intriga Crossfire” segment.

However, host John “Sweet” Lapus revealed that the actor backed out of the plan at the last minute.

The birthday girl maintained that she and her former co-star in “Mano Po 6” have no problems, but then let out a peculiarly loud giggle.

“Wala. Wala naman [kaming problema]. Hindi ko alam [kung bakit siya nag-back out]. Ayoko na. Baka mag-away-away na naman. Mabuti na ‘yung safe,” she intimated.

It is recalled that she and Dennis’ ex-girlfriend, Cristine Reyes, had a spat last year, rooted on Dennis’ “efforts” to approach Heart, which was said to have made the “Eva Fonda” actress green with envy.

“Ayoko na. Natatakot na ko. Ayoko na ma-involve,” she added.

Meanwhile, Lorin and Venice, Richard Gutierrez’s nieces to Ruffa, are said to have answered in unison “Tita Heart!” when asked with whom they would want their uncle to end up.

While she is appreciative of the girls’ fondness, she seemingly does not take it seriously.

“Nanonood kasi sila ng ‘Full House.’ Nagugustuhan nila sila Jessie (Heart’s role) at Justin (Richard’s role),” she surmised, adding that she and Richard are very good friends.

When it comes to her real-life love life, Heart said she does not want to label what she and constant date Ian Dy have.

“‘Di pa namin napag-uusapan kung ano ‘yun. [Basta] masaya na ‘ko,” she related.

In other news, the blooming multi-talented celebrity revealed she is putting her plans of buying a house in the States on hold to focus on helping their family business.

“Maraming nagbago recently [so] I might not anymore. That can wait,” said she.

Manny & Krista: Almost… at the supermarket

Setting all the rumors aside, Manny Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo could’ve almost met each other on Los Angeles, when both were invited to grace respective events at a supermarket.

However, the timing was off as Manny’s show was scheduled at night, while the ribbon-cutting ceremony where Krista was invited to attend took place in the morning.

Meanwhile Manny’s wife, Jinkee, revealed on “Showbiz Central” that she shouldered the furniture expenses for Mommy Dionisia’s house.

She said it was her Valentine gift for her mother-in-law.
