Police arrest 2 suspected cellphone thieves at BBM-Sara rally in Taguig
Two persons were arrested by the police for allegedly stealing the cell phones of attendees at the rally of UniTeam led by presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte in Taguig on April 24.
According to the Taguig police, the alleged theft happened at about 5:45 p.m. at the UniTeam rally at Union Drive, Arca South in Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig.

The victims were identified as Ariel Samson, 39, a resident of Barangay Southside, Makati, and Kristine Joy Betonio, 19, a resident of Barangay Sta. Ana, Taguig.
The police arrested two suspects identified as Raymond Babon, 23, a resident of Barangay North Daanghari, Taguig, and Japeth Guerrero, 22, a resident of Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig.
Recovered from the suspects were one Vivo cell phone worth P8,000 and an iPhone 6S worth P5,000.
The victims told the police that they were watching the UniTeam rally when they felt that their cell phones were stolen by the suspects.
They sought assistance from the police. The two suspects were arrested by Pat. Salvador Tuzon Jr. and Pat. Nazario Siniguian, members of Philippine National Police assigned to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion at Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig.
