Canon PIXMA printers offer fully-loaded value, quality and innovation

WI-FI-enabled PIXMA printers

This little powerhouse offers incredible performance and versatility, with high-end features such as individual color ink tanks and a memory card slot for direct printing from and scanning to memory cards.

For the home-office or corporate user, the PIXMA MP648 (PhP12,995) is a workhorse that allows simultaneous text printing and scanning between multiple PCs using Wi-Fi or wired LAN. This multi-tasking printer delivers high-quality prints at 9600 x 2400 (max.) dots per inch (dpi) producing borderless 4x6” photos in 20 seconds; and scans at up to 4800 x 9600 dpi.

Photo enthusiasts will love the PIXMA MP996 (PhP20,495). The photo AIO printer has a six-ink system that uses dedicated gray ink to produce professional monochrome color photos with reduced graininess and stable, neutral gray tones. With the highest resolution in the market of 9600 dpi and a one picolitre ink droplet, the most discerning photographer is assured of the most accurate and beautiful printouts.

The MP996’s scan component is outstanding at 4800 x 9600 dpi. Its CCD scanner uses a highly energy-efficient white LED lamp that delivers near-instant warm-up. It is also equipped with film scanning capabilities (negatives or slides).

The PIXMA MP568, MP648, and MP996 give an impressive 9600 x 2400 dpi print quality and high resolution scan at 2400 x 4800 dpi. Budget-conscious consumers will find the PIXMA MX328 (PhP5,895) most affordable. The fax multi-function printer supports the Super G3 standard for high-speed fax transmission that’s ideal for the home-office. The MX328 also includes Canon’s MP Navigator EX software to manage scanned images and documents, with simple conversion to PDF, including page re-ordering, PDF password security, word search function, and over 15-language OCR.

Value-conscious people who seek the convenience of an integrated AIO solution will find the PIXMA MP258 perfect for their needs. The model offers excellent printing performance, capable of producing sharp prints of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi (min 2pl). An excellent personal printer and scanner, the MP258 is compact and stylish, ready to operate mere seconds from start-up.

Consumers who want the latest innovations on their printers will not be disappointed with the PIXMA MX347 . The model boasts of an Auto Document Fix function that analyzes and corrects flaws on both text and image segments on the page. The printer also has enhanced security features in fax sending and reception, password-protected PDF document creation, and built-in secure network printing and scanning.

The MX347 also has a “save as compact PDF” format when scanning and storing information in USB flash drives or memory cards. Fax messages stored in the AIO’s memory can also be transferred to a USB and reviewed on the PC.

The Canon PIXMA line-up is also designed for optimum ease of use through features such as the easy-scroll wheel and intuitive controls layout for effortless navigation, and large LCD screens for excellent viewing.
