Kris sets more time for Noynoy

Kris Aquino revealed during her return on “The Buzz” on February 28 that she promised to join her brother, presidential aspirant Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, in his campaign trail.

“This election will only happen once. Kung manalo si Noy, minsan lang siya magiging presidente so I want to be there,” said the Queen of All Media.

She said she will go around various towns and cities on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays beginning the end of March, right before Holy Week.

A few days ago the “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” lead actress announced that she will take a leave from her late-night entertainment news show with Boy Abunda, “Showbiz News Ngayon,” until the elections, saying, “my bathroom fall [about a week ago] proved to me I just can't handle a schedule as full as mine.”

As of now, the bump in her head due to that fall is the size of half of a golf ball, according to Kris. She said it used to be as big as half of a tennis ball.

For cautionary measures, she will undergo another CT scan on March 12, since she admitted to intermittently experiencing dizziness.

“Meron pang mga episodes na nahihilo-hilo pa ko,” she said.

Kris said on a final note that “life needs a balance,” and that’s what’s she’s aiming for in her decision to reduce her workload and set aside time for her family.

Jennylyn Mercado: Constant Gerald Anderson visitor?

Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson addressed through a joke, a recent tabloid rumor that Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado is often seen lingering in front of his house in Vista Verde, Pasig.

“Maganda kasi ‘yung bahay ko,” he quipped on “The Buzz.”

Kidding aside, the “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” actor said he had seen Jennylyn biking around the village (where she also lives), and on one occasion, her maid asked to have a picture with him.

However, he made clear that they have not really talked, although they have been introduced.

In an interview on the other show, “Showbiz Central,” the “StarStruck” alumna laughed off the issue as well, saying “Natatawa naman ako. Anong gagawin ko dun?”

“Kung nalalaman ng iba, ‘yung sport ko biking. Lagi akong nagba-bike sa loob ng village so lahat ng bahay nadadaanan ko,” she explained.

She admitted to feeling embarrassed about the issue. “Nanahimik ‘yung tao,” she said of Gerald.

“‘Wag naman sana nilang gawan ng isyu kasi ang pangit tingnan ng balitang ‘yan,” she added.
