Jake Cuenca, a rich lover to Melissa Ricks?

Gifts speak louder than words for Jake Cuenca, who’s rumored to have shelled out 100,000 pesos for a gift to rumored girlfriend Melisssa Ricks: A purple Balenciaga bag.

However, Jake was mum on spilling details on “The Buzz.”

“Wag ako ‘yung tanungin niyo diyan.”

The actor eventually said something that sounds almost like an admission, although the statement really did not give much away:

“She’s a very, very special friend to me, [and] she deserves something like that.”

Even Melissa is taking a cue from a pop song, “Hush, Hush.”

“Kung anuman yun, sa’min na lang ‘yun, kasi ang dami-dami nang lumalabas. Ayoko nang palakihin pa,” she said.

Actor Ryan Eigenmann and his long-time girlfriend Cathy Bordalba have exchanged vows on February 28 in a Christian matrimony at the Coconut Palace.

In an earlier interview on “Showbiz Central,” Ryan and Cathy revealed that they met through a set-up by a common friend.

Cathy admitted that in the beginning, “It wasn’t on my mind na ito ‘yung mangyayari.”

During the span of their five-year old relationship, the actor proposed thrice to his beloved, the first two of which she turned down. Last year, she finally said yes.

Cathy is currently four months pregnant.
