Did you know that actress Gretchen Barretto is so fascinated by ABS-CBN’s “Tanging Yaman” that she never fails to watch it? In case she’s out of the house, she asks someone from her house staff to tape episodes for her.

Gretchen's love for the show knows no bounds. At a recent pictorial for a magazine, the actress was said to have left in a huff after her session just to catch “Tanging Yaman.”

“Uuwi na ako. Kailangang maabutan ko ang ‘Tanging Yaman.’ I’m watching it every day,” she was heard to have said to a staff of the magazine.

Gretchen will star in her very own soap opera soon, the first for La Greta. Co-starring with her in the show is Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsay.

A source told Manila Bulletin Online that Gretchen will play a model in the prime time drama series. Actually, Gretchen already brought a plethora of designer shoes, bags, and accessories for the show when she, together with partner Tonyboy and daughter Dominique, went to Hong Kong recently.

In her recent mag pictorial, La Greta came clutching an Hermes bag reportedly worth P2.5 million.

In her recent interview, Gretchen flaunted a luxurious Jaguar sports car, a gift from her partner Tonyboy when they celebrated their 16th anniversary as a couple. La Greta drove it herself on her way to the magazine pictorial.

There's no word if Gretchen will still use her customized bus when she starts taping for her soap. She first used the multi-million peso bus when she taped for her defunct game show "You And Me Against The World" on TV 5.

Reportedly, she refused to use the network’s dressing room, which is why she got herself a luxury bus.
