Anticipation for the frightening alien abduction movie, “The Fourth Kind,” extends as the film opens in Manila on Wednesday (March 3) moved from its original February playdate. Lovers fresh from Valentine dates will have a scary move-in-waiting for them.

Distributed by Viva International Pictures, the new science fiction-horror movie stars “Resident Evil” heroine Milla Jovovich as psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler who years back conducted sleep disorder tests revealing terrifying data about alien abductions.

The film, based on actual studies, is a reenactment of an original documentary set in Nome, Alaska, with never-before-seen archival footage inserted into it. Writer-director Olatunde Osunsanmi exposes shocking revelations from multiple witnesses who concluded that some aliens were responsible for some unsolved disappearances.

Its title was based on how J. Allen Hynek – a United States astronomer, professor, and ufologist – famously refer to abductions done by non-earthlings. “The Fourth Kind” also stars supporting acts Elias Koteas and Will Patton.
