Sharp RP sees strong sales growth
Sharp Philippines expects 10 times increase in sales of healthy products with sales of 2,000 to 3,000 units a month from the current 300 units a month as the company moves into the industrial market from the household market, company officials said.
Renan Lacson, Sharp Philippines senior manager for marketing and sales, told reporters at the relaunch of the company’s healthy products with the plasmacluster ion (PCI) technology that is unique only to Sharp products.
PCI is a revolutionary air sanitizing technology with highly safe positive and negative ions that effectively remove more than 99 percent of air impurities.
“With the PCI technology, we would like to match the sales performance in other ASEAN countries by entering into the industrial and business markets from the current household market,” Lacson said.
Lacson said the company’s healthy products split-type aircon, no frost refrigerators and air purifiers – have been with the company since five years ago but it is only now that they are giving it a big push.
